United Way Letter of Support


Longview, WA, February 26, 2015: The 23 Partner Agencies of the United Way of Cowlitz and Wahkiakum are essential providers of our local safety net and strive to consistently provide our most vulnerable citizens with the services they need.Collectively, we carry out the mission of the United Way to improve lives every day.We share in the United Way’s commitment to nurturing our children and youth, strengthening individuals and families, promoting health and healing, supporting older adults and providing basic needs.Through the work of our agencies, and with the support of the United Way, we are able to provide shelter; emergency services; medical, dental, substance abuse and mental health services; assistance to individuals and families in crisis; youth and adult development programs; advocacy; legal advice; basic food and access to healthy living.  We would like to sincerely thank the United Way for their generous support over the years and we will continue to support the United Way and to mobilize the caring power of our community together.
