WAKE UP RESULTS

The community came out on Thursday, December 14th to participate in the 3rd annual “Wake Up for United Way” event put on by United Way of Cowlitz & Wahkiakum Counties in partnership with several local coffee shops, including Red Leaf Organic Coffee Co, Dutch Bros., Kalama Koffee, Julie's Java, Vault Books & Brew. Each location contributed a portion of their daily proceeds to United Way to support their 2018 campaign and 24 partner agencies, that will ultimately improve more local lives. The annual event raised a total of $3,761, an increase from year’s past. “We were delighted to have the great support from our local businesses and community members, whether it was stopping in for a regular coffee that you get every day, or buying treats for a staff meeting, family member or friend,” said Executive Director, Brooke Fisher-Clark. “We are so thrilled to have great support from these local coffee businesses in this fun, engaging annual fundraiser,” she stated.
