Removing Financial Barriers — Helping Local Children Attend Preschool
A child’s early years have a profound impact on the rest of their lives. That is why access to preschool is so important. When children are able to attend preschool, they are able to learn and play alongside others and develop essential social and academic skills that help them succeed for years to come.

By investing in a child’s early years, we are investing in that child’s entire life and our entire community

Our community has many options when it comes to preschool—from Head Start to T-K to local private preschools. But for some, the cost of preschool makes it out of reach. We want to help fix that.

United Way of Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties is proud to provide preschool scholarships so that local children have access to this important opportunity.
